JOKE of the MONTH (October)

A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to "honor thy father and thy mother," she asked,"Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?"
Without missing a beat one little boy answered, "Thou shall not kill."

Being the middle child of five, I found this one particularly humorous!

Recent Activity Review (Hayride)

Thanks everybody for coming out and joining us last at the bonfire/hayride.  If you see Jason Roberts make sure to tell him how much we appreciate him letting us use his house and trailer.  There were hot dogs, cowboy beans, smore's and hot chocolate.  Lot's of conversation and an INCREDIBLY cold hayride!  I made an attempt at a ghost story, but it ended up sounding very similar to "Casper the friendly ghost".  Below tell us what your favorite part of the night was.  Hotdog's? Smore's? Hayride? or just sitting and talking around the fire?

Recent Activity Review (Lock-in)

For those of you that didn't join us at Calvert Methodist, you missed a very fun and very tiring night.  With 24 kids, we successfully kept from break something while playing underground church. Grant ran into door leaving a nice big cherry on his forehead, but no critical or fatal injuries so i consider it a success.  After a few games of murder, we concluded the night with a mixture of board games, halo, and ultmiate frisbee.  Below, tell a funny story from the night or your favorite activity....
